THE CHALLENGE

When decorating aquariums, access to colorful high-quality reproduction corals is scarce. A client tasked us with digitizing an existing sample for the purpose of replication.

THE SOLUTION

Replik8 Studios used 3D imaging technology to capture the original shape and texture of the coral and 3D print a prototype.

The 3D-printed prototypes were used to produce molds for polyurethane reproductions of the original coral.
